Since 1998, Horizon Yacht Charters has always loved supporting the BVI community and have been doing our part by donating supplies, and supporting local community members for many years. We have found great love and commitment when coming together to help the people of the country we call home. There are countless families and fur families seeking assistance.

We are proud members of Pack for a Purpose, an initiative that allows travelers like you to make a lasting impact in the community at your travel destination. If you save a bit of space in your suitcase and bring supplies with you for the projects we support in need, you’ll make a priceless impact in the lives of our local children and families.

Protect Coral Reefs with Beyond The Reef
Our coral reefs are one of the main reasons people flock to the BVI! Not only are they a beautiful sight to see, they provide a unique ecosystem for the local flora and fauna, providing shelter, food, and more for the aquatic beings living in them. Magnificent as they may be, certain human activity can cause unintentional harm to coral reefs.

The RBVIYC youth sailing programme
Horizon have been longtime supporters of the Royal BVI Yacht Club located in Nanny Cay. Our joint goal is to get more kids sailing through after-school programs and holiday camps. The RBVIYC aims to continue pushing BVI talent through to the international stage up to and including the Olympics, like Paris 2024 when the BVI had its first sailor since 1996!
All monetary donations will go towards:
- New life jackets
- Travel to international races
- Sailing Equipment
